Types Of Acrobatic Moves

Gymnastic Moves

These moves are basically forward roll. The starting body position is upright, hands reaching towards the ceiling. This moves start in a tall stance, one foot in front of others.

Tumbling Acrobatic Moves

These moves are basically punched fronts, back handsprings, roundoff back handsprings, layout, front fulls, double fulls, and standing fulls.

Round Off Acrobatic Moves

Roundoff is a move in gymnastics similar to a cartwheel, except the gymnast lands with two feet placed together on the ground instead of one foot at a time, facing the direction of arrival.

Walkover (Forward)

It is basically to reach down and place both hands on the floor. Also, take a staggered stance. Kick back leg up behind and raise up into a handstand. Learn forward to catch a bridge. Touch down with one leg after the other.

Walkover (Backward)

A back walkover is an acrobatic maneuver in which a person transitions from a standing position to a back bridge and then back to a standing position again, undergoing a complete revolution of the body in the process.

A move in which the gymnast places both hands on the mat with the top of the head about 6 inches in front, pushes off with the hands while flipping the legs overhead, and lands on the feet.
