Acrobatic Tricks; Some of the most spectacular stunts that can be performed by an acrobat are those that are done in a combination of acrobatic, gymnastic, and military moves. The Act Of Dancing is one of the more complicated routines that can be performed by an acrobat. This type of performance is commonly referred to as the Fence Flyer or the Forest Fist. In this article, I will discuss the basic stunts that can be performed by an acrobat and then provide tips for performing them correctly.
An acrobat’s ability to jump is usually tied into the speed at which he or she can rise to achieve a high force imparted upon the person trying to stop him or her. When this is accomplished it is known as the Force Factor. The force imparted on the person being jumped upon is measured in Newton-meters, much like the Force Factor.
Acrobat’s Ability: Acrobatic Tricks
Stars at the star level can perform a maneuver known as the Grapple. This is done by two persons supporting each other by grabbing their ankles and pulling them forward to the ground.
Rock Wall: There are some who believe that a person can leap from the top of a twenty-foot cliff with a ten-foot rope. It is a difficult maneuver and is often done by both students and professionals at cliff-side mountaineering schools.
Bridal Toss: This feat is often done without any kind of strenuous element. Usually, it involves several people and is more of a game than anything else.
Table Flip: Acrobatic Tricks
Table Flip: There are many acrobats who have mastered the art of an acrobatic flip. Some of these include Batman, Superman, Hulk, and many others. These stunts do not necessarily involve the acrobat falling off a table, but rather it involves bending an object to one’s will.
Jumping onto the head of a pin or the legs of a chair is commonly referred to as a Martial Arts Moves. It can be a very dangerous stunt to perform, so only a trained professional should attempt this particular stunt.
Wooden Puzzles: Woodies: Woodies is a simple stunt that requires the performer to lay flat on his back. The object being moved across the floor must be hidden behind the performer’s back or face. There is nothing really stopping the performer from pulling the object over his back as he jumps or falls.
Guns: The most common type of stunt performed by the acrobatic specialist is the Gun Disarm. This involves moving away from a very strong object and aiming at a fake gun.
Violinist: When performing tricks, the acrobat must master all levels of skills. Also, it is important to get the acrobat a partner or two to train with, as it can be very easy to injure yourself if you do not practice with a good, solid partner.
Speed: Some acrobats tend to excel at speed or other types of acrobatics. They usually do not involve a complicated twist or somersault; but rather they rely on strength and agility to increase their height and momentum.
Finally, acrobatic talents can be developed by regularly practicing stunts. Also, experienced professionals will have perfected all the moves that they can perform and even invent new moves as they go along. Therefore, it is up to the acrobat to take advantage of the training and experience provided by their instructor to perfect their own skills.
