Beginners Guide To Acrobats Training

Learning Acrobatics seems difficult to most people. However if you’re gonna start with the small basic moves, then it’s not gonna be that difficult for you. Follow these easy instructions we’re giving you to start with.

1.Forward Roll

One of the most common misconceptions about front roll is that you need to protect the head. But the most important thing in a front roll is to support the back of the upper neck. To do a forward roll, place your hands in front of you, lower your head and tuck in your chin. Then, push your body with your legs to roll forward.

2.Backward Roll

To do a backward roll, we need to protect the head using a different approach. Lay flat on the floor, turn the neck to the side, tuck it in and lift your legs over. This way, our shoulders, neck or head don’t get hurt.

3.Press Handstand

If you have never done a press headstand before, then it’s better to start off by doing some exercises to build strength in your arms and wrists.

Exercise 1: Put yourself in the pushup position and hold yourself up for at least 10 seconds.

Exercise 2: Perform the handstand against the wall, so your legs don’t fall over and upset your balance. You can do this from both the front and back.

Once you’ve practiced with these two exercises, then move to the press handstand step by step. Raise your arms and keep them taut, then bent the front leg as it’s gonna help push your body to push yourself on your hands. Now place your hands flat on the ground, lift one leg with the other and give yourself a small but firm push.

Once you become habitual to support yourself on your hands and maintain you balance, practice again to improve the smoothness and speed of your hands. You may need to increase the speed of your leg plush to join your legs together smoothly.

Make your body straight and raise up your arms. Then, set your hands down on the ground while keeping your forward leg straight. Lift your back leg while keeping it straight as well. The third step is to lift our body so that it’s vertical and turn on your side and then, the last  step is to return to the starting position.

It’s important to first make your body vertical before doing the cartwheel, otherwise, it will be very complicated. Another tip for you is that if you’ve never done a cartwheel before, it’s much easier to learn by practicing the four contact points of the ground where we place the first hand, second hand, where we place the first leg and then the second leg. This way, you’ll know each position to place your limbs

These Acrobatics activities are meant to be performed in the same sequence as they are mentioned here. If you’ll do it in the same sequence then they will help you to improve your body’s flexibility and strength.
